I put my house on the market with PrudentialPladson Realty. I then had a offer for my house the offer fell threw, I continued to keep my house on the market, I then had another offer for a short sale to keep me out of foreclosure, this was sufficient enough to cover the loan and country wide denied the short sale and my house went into foreclosure and I lost my house December 2007. This would have been avoided if they allowed the short sale. Country Wide is not on my side I went down in foreclosure, and lost everything. house, credit, financial, mental and physical stress.

I refinanced my mortgage last summer to get some money out. I was very tentative about the mortgage they were offering me. When I hesitated the broker got frustrated and said something like Listen are you doing this or not. You keep going back and forth. I felt badly and agreed to the mortgage. In the middle of the deal the guy I was working with went on vacation and did not return my calls although he gave me his cell number. Although I was not working at the time and the mortgage and interest rate they gave me was outrageous. I felt backed into a corner bc I needed the money, but the refinance was too much for me to handle when I had to start making payment. Now I am stuck with this mortgage that I cannot pay. All I want is my old interest rate and monthly payments.

I own 2 investment properties and for one of them countrywide keeps returning my payments despite the fact that everymonth their customer service personnel fixes the problem and promisse me that will not happen again. Well they try allways to report you after 5 days of you being late on your payment, they never let you know your payment is been reuturned. Of course this affects everyone, and I know of a case that forvced the person to accept foreclosure despite an offer of paying up to 15k to get up to date.
